#FAR CRY 4 BLACK SCREEN FIX CRACK DOWNLOAD INSTALL#When I installed the game I was a bit worried about the space on my C: boot/OS SSD and had changed the install location for both the 'installer' and 'game' to my data drive (D: in my case, pardon the pun)Ĭhecking the 'installer'/cache location - thought it strange that it was empty?Ĭhecked the registry and couldn't see an easy way to change/hack the installer location back to C: - boo.Īs I use Steam and had other Ubisoft titles in there I checked the C: location for the installer cache - which had files in it. Tried swapping my razer mouse for a logitech one - same 'two thirds' issue - other than KB/Mouse - nothing else USB plugged in. #FAR CRY 4 BLACK SCREEN FIX CRACK DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE#Removed the razer software - same 'two thirds' issue Updated the razer software - same 'two thirds' issue Tried to verify files - found approx 1gb of data and downloaded what it neededįound some threads discussing USB peripherals.ĭisconnected the Xbox controller - same issueĭisconnected my Razer Orbweaver - ooooo now I get to the loading screen.bar progress and some funny coloured balls floating across the background.īut the progress bar only gets to 'two thirds' then stops.have to end task. Had black window with farcry4 logo top left - would never go further and had to end task Obtained a key from online key provider - activated in Uplay and downloaded overnight (not the fastest internet where I am!) In the hope that sharing my process may help you/others. I feel your pain as I too suffered the black screen issue when I first tried this game.Īlthough I was feeling more upbeat this morning when I finally got into the game, I've yet to actually try playing it. Just posted elsewhere but in case it may help here too. Get with the program, UbiSoft! Your customers aren't part of your development team!! ![]() Kinda sad that I have to figure this issue out on my own. #FAR CRY 4 BLACK SCREEN FIX CRACK DOWNLOAD UPDATE#I'm about to go update my support case I filed with Ubisoft Support tonight. However, if you really want to play the game and have another keyboard or can play with a controller - this workaround method might work for you. I'd say the keyboard is a pretty big deal. Seems like the game isn't reading certain USB peripherals correctly. The final confirmation came when I dusted off a regular Logitech keyboard I had and plugged it in and the game launched without issues. To confirm my theory, I re-plugged the same Saitek Eclipse Gaming Keyboard into USB and tried to launch the game. I setup my game options, then quit the game (this step is optional). I unplugged my Saitek Eclipse Gaming Keyboard (model # KU-0418) and launched Far Cry 4. Here's what the issue turned out to be for me. but nevertheless, I got the game to finally work after spending my entire evening troubleshooting a game I pre-purchased for $60 and which I believe should be ready to play on day one! This is more of a workaround than a solution. #FAR CRY 4 BLACK SCREEN FIX CRACK DOWNLOAD DRIVERS#I am very angry at the moment, I bought the hardware better than is needed for this game, that you said could play it, I updated my windows 8.1, I installed all needed drivers and components needed to run the game, I gave you my money for the product you said you would deliver and waited for your uplay software to tell me it was delivered and then I find out you did not deliver what you promised my setup is fine works with every other game I have, this product is not fit for purpose all it can do is display your logo and a black window and freeze my system, I feel sorry for the people who worked hard making this game they have been let down by a greedy company that released an unfinished product, you must give the developers the resources required to fix your mess quickly or you will not have these customers in the future Unplug every single USB device, stopped every process possible, still, the game hangs at black screen and I can't play at all!!! What the **** ubi? ![]()
